Webkinz are not like any other soft toy. Each Webkinz figure comes with a special code that allows access to the "Webkinz World" website. On that site you can adopt a virtual version of the pet that you can interact with.
Webkinz World allows you to interact with your Webkinz pet in a similar way to a real pet. To start with you'll get basic things such as an item of food, a room for your pet and so on. You'll also get some "Kinzcash". This is a form of virtual currency used to buy things to keep up levels of happiness, health, and hunger. There are multiple games, including quizzes and arcade games to play on the site.
